About Me
My name is Caerys Callaghan and I'm a singer\songwriter. Alongside this I'm a performer you can hire for parties, weddings and a whole variety of gigs there will be more about this on my Gigging Information page ;)
Who am I?
I'm a singer/songwriter from Liverpool and I'm just about to finish my music degree at LMA. My end goal is to write, produce and perform my own music, but I also have a passion for gigging and performing in general, My inspirational artists who I have always looked up to are Ariana Grande, Stevie Nicks and Billie Eilish I listen to these artists and I'm just amazed and know that this is the career I want to be in. I also have a background in Musical theatre, before I joined the music course I was actually halfway through my course in Musical Theatre having already been studying it for about 4 years through college into university. I loved MT however I just always had a feeling like my heart wasn't in it fully, I would go home everyday and write songs instead of rehearse for the shows, I eventually just became unhappy there. It was a great course and I would highly recommend it but it just wasn't what I wanted to do so I made the long and hard decision of changing course in my second year, I can happily say it was the best decision I ever made and it really excelled me with my music and with everything. I don't ever regret doing Musical Theatre though because it did really help me in the long run with singing techniques, stage presence and so many things that I never even realized.

My love for songwriting grew from my love of English class and making up stories, I think if I wasn't so passionate in music I would probably try to become an author.
My love for performing has been here my whole life, holiday karaoke's, singing at family parties and Christmas plays with my little cousins. In the past couple years I've played in a bunch of venues like E.B.G.B's, Jimmy's and the Cavern Club. I'm hoping to add more to that list soon:)
